Open Days, Modern traction day and Polly Rally

The provisional dates for 2024 are May 11^th and September 7^th.

Fun days when all our tracks, 32mm, 45mm, 2½ inch, 3½ inch and 5 inch, are open to club visitors from 10.30 until everyone has gone home. Free refreshments are provided throughout the day but a donation would be welcomed. Test certificates are only required for locomotives with boiler pressure over 3 bar/litres.

Modern traction day July 6^th.

Polly Rally May 18^th.

Family picnic day for NSME members, friends and family only August 17^th

How to Find Us

Bromsgrove Society of Model Engineers' track site is situated adjacent to Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings, Bromsgrove. If you have sat nav, the post code for the museum is B60 4JR. The OSGB grid reference is SO954683.

The museum is situated off the A38 very near to Morrisons.

From the south, it is signposted from junction 5 of the M5.
For those arriving from a northerly direction, signs start at junction 1 of the M42.

Once you've turned off the road and into the museum, you'll find the club's private entrance gates
to the left of Avoncroft's main entrance.
